Wild Indigo Nature Explorations
Eden Place has partnered with Aubudon - Chicago Region, the Forest Preserves of Cook County, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife to launch Wild Indigo Nature Explorations, a community engagement program that exposes Chicago South Siders to the wonders of nature throughout the city and in the nearby Forest Preserves. We promote healthy bodies, healthy communities, and a healthy planet through free outdoor field trips and activities. Participants have the chance to see the natural beauty of the Calumet Region and play an active role in restoring the prairies and forests to their natural conditions.
Wild Indigo Nature Explorations Goals:
Our explorations provide fun and easy outdoor activities for all adults, and for families with children aged 8 and older. We will safely enjoy nature and help it at the same time.
